With a standard 220V source (like the one your household oven or dryer plugs into), the Capacity PHETT™ reaches a full charge in as little as 3 to 5 hours and runs on electric power for up to 2 to 3 hours per charge, with zero diesel emissions.  As the battery charge is depleted to 50%, the 40 HP diesel gen-set is activated and the batteries are automatically re-charged to 80% capacity. To further automate the charging process, the truck’s forward motion during times when the accelerator is not being applied, also acts to charge the battery.
